2024 BMW Championship TV schedule, channel, live stream, where to watch FedEx Cup Playoffs coverage
The field is set for the 2024 BMW Championship, with 50 players still alive in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. While those who make their way to Castle Pines in Colorado are safe for next year’s signature event, not everyone is guaranteed a trip to Atlanta for next week’s Tour Championship.
Notable players outside the top-30 cutoff include PGA Tour rookie Nick Dunlap. The two-time winner earned a spot in the BMW Championship with a top-five finish at the St. Jude Championship and will look to continue his climb in the standings with another great performance. Will Zalatoris has yet to play at East Lake during his career and is on the outside looking in with players like Max Homa, Adam Scott and Tommy Fleetwood.
Denny McCarthy is the last player standing before the BMW Championship and, like Zalatoris, he will also be trying to punch his first ticket to the Tour Championship. While those players will compete for tee times in the Postseason Finale, others will race for positioning in the all-important staggered start format.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has been No. 1 in the FedEx Cup standings for most of the year, but he could fall out of this spot if Xander Schauffele wins the BMW Championship and Scheffler falls out of the top five. Hideki Matsuyama has regained the lead and is in third place, while Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark are nearly deadlocked in places 4-6.
