Alison Holker begins a new love story a year and a half after the tragic death of her husband Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss
Allison Holker has found love again following the suicide of her husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss.
The 36-year-old former “Dancing with the Stars” singer hinted at a new relationship by posting a photo on Instagram on Wednesday in which she and a man are seen holding hands.
She accompanied the cute photo with a red heart emoji, hinting that the mystery man was her boyfriend.
Many wished Holker well on her new love interest, including fellow widow Amanda Kloots, who commented, “So happy for you.”
The professional dancer married Boss in 2013 and they have three children: Wesley, 16, Maddox, 8, and Zia, 4.
However, in December 2022, the former “Ellen DeGeneres Show” DJ was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a Los Angeles hotel room. He was 40 years old.
Boss reportedly left a suicide note at the time, detailing past challenges and mental health struggles.
However, Holkar reportedly claimed before the police that there was no fight between her and her husband before he left the house and there were no “issues” between them.
The former “So You Think You Can Dance” singer, who is stunned by the death of her love and dance partner, said her heart “broken” when she first shared her grief.
“We miss you so much,” she wrote in her Instagram post at the time.
A few months later, in February 2023, Holkar thanked her fans for giving her “hope and inspiration”.
At the time, she was also dealing with the legal formalities related to her husband’s death.
Holker that month asked a California court to award her half of Boss’ estate because he had died intestate and there was no written agreement between the two.
In May the following year, Holker broke down in tears as she described the difficult conversation she had to have with her children about their father’s death.
“Honestly, it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anybody. It’s really hard,” she previously said on “Today.”
“For us, Daddy is in the stars. So we can go out and talk to him whenever we want. … They just ask, ‘When is Daddy coming back?’ And that’s a really tough question.”
However, by June this year, Holker admitted she was now ready to embrace dating again.
“I’m just trying to hug [the growth] and see what my next steps are [my] Career [my] “We’re very comfortable with each other when it comes to choices and dating,” she told People at the time.
“I still want to find love, still want to travel the world. I still want to see and experience new things with new people, new energy, my friends, my family, a loved one — a possibility — and my kids.”
