Artem Chigvintsev called 911 after allegedly assaulting someone in his home — but then called first responders

Artem Chigvintsev reportedly called 911 himself to report a domestic violence incident at his home, but then called back a short time later to tell first responders not to come.

According to TMZ, the “Dancing With the Stars” alumnus — who Page Six has confirmed will not be returning for Season 33 — called the Emergency Medical Services Agency in Napa, California, at around 8:30 a.m. local time.

Chigvintsev was reportedly terrified by the injuries he inflicted on his alleged victim. The man’s name has not yet been released.

TMZ reported that when Chigvintsev — who is married to former WWE star Nikki “Bella” Garcia — got scared and tried to shoo away first responders, the paramedics and firefighters actually retreated to their stations.

Page Six reached out to a Napa EMS spokesperson but did not immediately receive a response.

However, a public information officer for the Napa County Sheriff’s Office told Page Six that police arrived at the scene after receiving a report of domestic violence shortly before 10 a.m.

Henry Wofford told us, “For domestic violence, if someone picks up the phone and says, ‘You don’t have to come,’ we’ll still go do a welfare check. We’re not just going to stop what we’re doing.”

“We were dispatched to go there and our deputies went straight there.”

According to officials, Chigvintsev, 42, and his alleged victim were both at the home when officers arrived.

Following an investigation, police named the professional dancer as a suspect and arrested her on a felony domestic violence charge, which we’re told is done when there are “obvious injuries or credible eyewitnesses.”

“While we were there, the victim did not receive any medical attention. I can’t say the victim did not receive any medical attention,” Wofford says. need Any kind of medical help – that is something the victim has to share.”

He further clarified, “I would not say that he said it was not necessary [to receive medical help]This might be the order they wanted to go in.”

Chigvintsev was arrested and booked into the Napa County Jail at around 10:40 a.m. and then posted his $25,000 bail at around 2:15 p.m., allowing him to be released from police custody.

Chigvintsev has not issued a statement about the incident, nor responded to Page Six’s request for comment.

Garcia — who has a 4-year-old son, Mateo, with her husband — also has not commented on the case or confirmed whether she is the victim, though she did share via Instagram on Wednesday that she was in Napa Valley, where she lives.

Police told us that the man who was attacked had requested privacy and, therefore, officers are not revealing his name because they are “respecting the man’s personal request” and “following the law.”
