Ben Affleck is no longer in contact with Jennifer Lopez’s kids after divorce: Report

Ben Affleck no longer has a relationship with his children following his breakup with Jennifer Lopez.

A source told People Sunday that the Oscar winner is “not in contact” with Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

“The fact that he hasn’t seen his kids in a long time makes it seem like he’s abandoned them,” the insider added, noting that Lopez, 55, is still “especially close” to Affleck’s three kids, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, as well as their mom, Jennifer Garner.

The source added that the “Dance Again” singer is also “close” to Anthony’s four children, who were born from Anthony’s pre-marital relationships.

“She stays in touch with the kids and is a great mother,” the insider added.

The source also revealed that Lopez often praised Affleck as a father when they were together.

,[Jennifer] “He went out there and told the world what a great father he was,” he said.

The Post has not received a response from representatives for Lopez or Affleck.

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on Aug. 20, the second anniversary of their wedding ceremony in Georgia, which was attended by family and friends — including their five joint children.

The “Hustlers” star revealed the separation date to be April 26, 2024, confirming breakup rumors that began circulating in May when it was revealed Affleck had moved out of their $60 million marital mansion, which is now for sale.

Despite her breakup with Affleck this summer, Lopez has been spotted spending time with her stepchildren on multiple occasions.

In June, she attended Samuel’s graduation ceremony, but arrived separately from Affleck. Lopez brought her children to the event, while Affleck invited his mother, Chris Anne Boldt, along with him.

The following month, Lopez bonded with Violet in the Hamptons before the teen left for college at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Lopez also took Samuel shopping in Los Angeles earlier this month, after which she took the 12-year-old to Affleck’s rental home in Brentwood.

The former couple enjoyed special moments with their blended family during their time together, so much so that after their split it was reported that Lopez helped Affleck “become a family man again.”

“Family is very important to both of them, and together they were family — and that relationship never ended,” a source told People last week.

Despite her close relationship with Affleck’s family, Lopez applied to legally remove her ex-husband’s famous last name in her divorce documents.

She asked the judge to restore her name to Jennifer Lynn Lopez, as she announced she will change her name to Jennifer Lynn Affleck after they say “I do” in July 2022.
