Ben Affleck reportedly had ‘no interest’ in fixing the marriage before Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce

Jennifer Lopez is ready to “move on” from Ben Affleck after he filed for divorce following two years of marriage.

A source told People that the “Air” actor showed “no interest” in fixing their broken relationship, so the “This Is Me … Now” star ended the relationship.

“She is very disappointed and hurt, but Ben has given her no indication that he wants to continue their marriage,” the source explained.

“He has shown no commitment or interest in making his marriage work. It’s gotten to the point where all he has to think about is himself.”

Page Six has confirmed that Lopez, 55, made the long-awaited separation official on Tuesday, which also happened to be the second anniversary of their wedding in Georgia.

The “Jenny From the Block” singer has set her separation date as April 26, 2024.

The financial information sheet submitted as part of the divorce petition, obtained by Page Six on Wednesday, reveals that Bennifer 2.0 did not have a prenuptial agreement, meaning they will have to split any income or community property they earned during the marriage.

She also opted to forgo spousal support and asked the judge to deny Affleck such support as well, TMZ reports.

Lopez and Affleck, 52, have no children together, so child custody would not be an issue in the divorce. However, the Oscar winner has three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while the “Selena” star has twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

A source tells Us exclusively that all five children born during Lopez and Affleck’s marriage have accepted the divorce.

“His kids and his wife are taking it well. Everyone is ready to move on,” an insider told Fox.

The pair’s breakup rumors first surfaced in May, when it was reported that they had begun attending couples therapy.

A separate source told Us at the time that Affleck “would seek divorce on grounds of temporary insanity” if possible because he had finally “come to his senses” after what felt like a “fever dream” of a relationship with Lopez, to whom he was once engaged before ending it in 2004.
