Bobby Althoff explains 20-pound weight gain, reveals cosmetic procedures after ‘cruel’ comments about his looks

Bobby Althoff revealed her appearance changed because she gained weight after giving birth — not because she had a ton of cosmetic surgery, as Internet trolls have claimed.

“I’m so tired of people’s comments saying, ‘She ruined her face,’ and ‘She can’t even move her face; it’s so frozen. She has so many fillers in her face,'” the “Really Good Podcast” host said in a video posted to her Instagram on Monday.

Althoff, 27, said she wanted to “clear things up” on social media.

“The only change I’ve made to my face is a little bit of filler in my upper lip, okay? That’s it,” she insisted.

The influencer denied that she had fillers in her cheeks, and explained that her face looked fuller because she gained some weight after she stopped breastfeeding her 2-year-old daughter, Isla, whom she shares with her ex-husband, tech executive Corey Althoff.

“I don’t have fillers in my cheeks, but you guys think I do because I gained a lot of weight and that’s because I was breastfeeding all the time about a year ago,” she said, adding, “And when I stopped that, I gained about 20 pounds and a lot of it went to my face.”

Bobby then raised his eyebrows and made several exaggerated facial expressions to illustrate his point and said, “My face isn’t frozen.”

The internet personality said she tries not to care “too much” about the negative comments.

“But it’s like, can a girl add some weight to her face without you guys saying she has fillers in her cheeks?” she asked. “And can a girl feel insecure about her upper lip and get some lip fillers without you guys commenting on it?”

“We all know I did that. We can all see it. You guys aren’t stupid. So, you don’t have to comment on it. Don’t make it weird.”

Bobby said she can never win when it comes to online trolls – whether she gets work or not.

“You don’t have to tell me about my insecurities, and when I do something to change them, because you guys will also be the first to say, ‘Oh where is her upper lip?’ Second I don’t have lip fillers, so nothing can make you happy,” she fumed.

The celebrity interviewer — who has gone viral for her conversations with Drake, Offset, and others — then took the opportunity to call out her “haters” for being mean in their comments.

“Really, the bigger issue is that you guys don’t care about your digital footprint,” she said. “Like, I don’t understand, because I don’t know a single successful person, or even a normal person, who leaves hate comments under anything.”

Bobby said that “normal people” would “talk crap” about internet users in private, not “in their comments section.”

“Like, send my video to your group message,” she suggested.

“But to comment about it publicly, to leave a digital footprint of your comments, that’s not normal. That’s weird behavior. And it’s just rude.”

Bobby said what her trolls don’t understand is that she’s a “real rubbish person” who reads all the comments and that people can be “quite cruel” to her.

“You guys aren’t nice to anybody. But it’s just annoying, and it’s embarrassing for you,” she said. “Not for me, because rest assured all my bills are paid, my kids are nice, my friends are nice, everybody in my life is nice. The only thing that’s not nice is you, obviously, because you’re so weird.”

“And you obviously don’t have any friends, because if you did you’d talk crap to them about me and ignore my comments.”

Bobby encouraged his online harassers to introspect and find their own success if they are jealous of him.

“The Internet is an amazing place because there are so many opportunities on it, and I know when I started on the Internet, I knew I wanted to grow a platform, and I knew I wanted to make money off of it,” she said. “And I posted every single day, at least 10 times a day for three years, and I have no complaints because the worst part about my job is that I get people who comment about me — then I’m pretty good.”

He ended his video by thanking those who have supported him over the years.

Bobby and Corey divorced in February – two months after they filed to end their four-year marriage. They also have a 3-year-old daughter, Luca.
