Boxing schedule for 2024: Canelo Alvarez vs. Edgar Berlanga, Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois

It’s been an exciting year in the boxing ring so far. Oleksandr Usyk was crowned the first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion after outboxing Tyson Fury. Undisputed (at the time) super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez scored a sensational win over his countryman Jaime Munguia. And Gervonta Davis scored a brutal knockout in his ring return against Frank Martin.

But with just five months until 2024, there are still plenty of big attractions to come. Usyk and Fury are set to fight again later in the year in Saudi Arabia. Alvarez faces another interesting challenger in Edgar Berlanga, although it’s not what many fans were expecting. And, there’s the highly anticipated showdown between social media star turned boxer Jake Paul and former undisputed heavyweight king Mike Tyson, who just turned 58.

Alvarez is set for his return on Mexican Independence Day weekend in September. One week later, former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is back in action when he takes on top contender Daniel Dubois in London for the vacant IBF championship.
