Brittany Cartwright hits the town with ‘Valley’ co-star Jack Wickham after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor
Living her best single life.
Brittany Cartwright was spotted at Taisho Japanese Restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California on Tuesday night with her close friend and co-star Jack Wickham.
The 35-year-old “Valley” star showed off her curves in a tight blue midi-dress with a plunging neckline during the outing. She did not wear her wedding ring during the outing, which came just hours after she filed for divorce from Jax Taylor.
Cartwright completed the look with gold hoop earrings, black stilettos, and a small black Louis Vuitton bag.
The mother of one looked happy as she smiled and waved at the cameras while arriving at the celeb hotspot.
The paps also captured the moment when she and Wickham, who have been good friends since college, laughed and left the restaurant together.
Cartwright continued to smile for reporters as Wickham, 37, waved and led her to her car.
During this visit, Wickham wore a long white T-shirt, dark brown jeans, green and white Nike sneakers, and a backwards baseball cap.
Earlier in the day, Cartwright was spotted celebrating her new divorce at her rental home in Sherman Oaks, where she accepted a delivery of alcohol.
The Kentucky native officially filed for divorce from Taylor on Tuesday after five years of marriage, according to documents obtained by Page Six.
Cartwright cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce and set the separation date as January 24, 2024.
She hasn’t said anything publicly about her decision yet, but she did hint at it by posting a stunning selfie.
“Getting my glow back,” she captioned the photo on Tuesday.
Taylor, 45, has also remained mum about the split after he was admitted into a mental health facility due to his “severe anger issues.”
However, a source told People that Taylor is “feeling mixed emotions” but “knows it’s ultimately the right decision but is sad that things ended the way they did.”
The insider also said that filing the official paperwork was “something Britney knew she had to do for the best interest of herself and her son,” referring to their 3-year-old son, Cruz.
“A lot has happened over the last few months that she can’t ignore. This decision was not made lightly, but she is adamant it was the right one,” she said.
Cartwright first announced their separation in February. However, Taylor initially denied that they had split and said they were “trying to work things out.”
The estranged couple began discussing their marital troubles in Season 1 of “The Valley,” where Cartwright admitted she had thought about divorce while Taylor completely dismissed the idea.
The season ended with an emotional conversation where Cartwright called him out for being “mean like a f–king snake” towards her.
Both Taylor and Cartwright are back to filming Season 2 of “The Valley” — which has been in production since mid-July — but it’s unclear if they’ll continue filming together once Taylor returns home from the treatment center.
