Cardi B rubbishes skin bleaching allegations, reveals how third pregnancy is affecting her health

Cardi B has dismissed “silly” speculations about her complexion while she’s pregnant with her and estranged husband Offset’s third child.

The “Bodak Yellow” singer responded to an X user on Wednesday after they reposted a recent photo of the rapper and questioned whether she was “bleaching her skin.”

“Bleaching during pregnancy? Why are y’all so stupid?” Cardi responded.

The “WAP” rapper revealed that the reason her skin color looks a little different is because she has anemia — an iron deficiency that causes a low number of red blood cells. According to the Mayo Clinic, mild anemia is common during pregnancy.

“I’m pregnant and I’m a little anemic, this baby is draining all the energy from my body, I’m pale, my eyes are sunken, my veins are green, I can’t stand the sun because I get hot and dizzy,” Cardi explained.

“Please stop thinking about your a-hole!” she concluded.

This isn’t the first time Cardi has spoken out about pregnancy complications.

Earlier this month, the pregnant woman revealed she had a “freak accident” and needed to be hospitalized.

While she didn’t reveal what exactly happened, she told fans it left her “paralyzed” and may have even caused a miscarriage.

“And I was scared of losing my baby because of that little thing, but that didn’t happen,” she said.

Cardi revealed doctors gave her morphine while she was hospitalized, but the numbing effect began to wear off once she got home.

“I woke up drunk today, honey. I’m dying,” she said. “Like, I’m dying. I swear to God. If I don’t feel better in four hours, I’m going to the hospital, and I don’t care.”

The rapper announced on August 1 that she was expecting her third child — just one day after filing for divorce from the Migos member.

At the time, insiders told Us that the couple — who already have daughter Kulture, 6, and son WayV, 2 — had simply “grown apart” and that their split wasn’t entirely based on the latest rumors of Offset cheating.

“This isn’t something that happened overnight… they were both on the same page. It wasn’t like that [pushback]”They have grown apart and the feeling has only gotten stronger over time. It has become inevitable,” the source added.

The insider explained that Cardi’s main priority is to gain “primary custody” of her children. However, she will not be demanding any child support from the “Ric Flair Drip” rapper.

Both will soon tie the knot in September 2017.
