Erika Jayne looked sad without makeup as her husband Tom Girardi was found guilty of embezzling over $15 million

Erika Jayne was photographed heading to the gym one day after her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, was found guilty of embezzling more than $15 million through his former law firm.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star looked glum while stepping out in West Hollywood, California on Wednesday.

Jen, 53, went makeup-free for the outing, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, gray sweatpants, sandals and a baseball cap.

On Tuesday, a Los Angeles jury found the reality star’s ex-wife guilty of four counts of wire fraud at her now-closed firm, Girardi & Keyes.

Girardi, 85, will be sentenced in December and faces up to 20 years in prison on each count.

In March 2021, Page Six confirmed that the former attorney had lost his license to practice law after he was sued for allegedly embezzling money during his divorce from Jen.

In February 2022, a grand jury indicted Girardi.

Federal prosecutors spoke out against the disgraced lawyer during a 13-day hearing, claiming he was the mastermind behind the Ponzi scheme from 2010 to 2020.

Prosecutors argued that Girardi stole money from his clients’ settlements and used the money to pay off his own debts.

He also claimed Girardi stole the money to fund his and Jayne’s lavish lifestyle.

“Tom Girardi achieved celebrity status by falsely portraying himself as a ‘champion of justice’ and ensnared victims,” U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada wrote in a DOJ statement.

“In reality, he was a reverse Robin-Hood, stealing money from the needy to fund a lavish Hollywood lifestyle. Today’s verdict shows that the game is over – we can all now see this defendant for what he was and the victims he ruthlessly betrayed.”

Government lawyers for Girardi argued that his former chief financial officer, Chris Kamon, who was also listed as a co-defendant, was responsible for the missing money.

The defendants used Girardi’s March 2021 diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia to argue that he was incapable of committing the crimes he was accused of and that Kamon used him as a pawn.

Despite Girardi’s condition, he was declared competent to stand trial and the charges against him were denied.

Last week, he told prosecutors, “The last thing I would do is take anybody’s money. I can’t even think about it.”

Girardi also took aim at Kamon, calling him “very smart” and denying that he took clients’ money for the benefit of himself and Jane.

Girardi and Jayne married in 2000.

In November 2020, the Bravolebrity filed for divorce from Girardi, a month before he was accused of cheating.
