Exclusive | Ben Affleck hanging out with RFK Jr.’s daughter Kik Kennedy amid split from Jennifer Lopez: sources

Following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck has been spending time with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s 36-year-old daughter, Kick Kennedy.

A Hollywood insider told Page Six that they have been spotted at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge and other glamorous spots.

The nature of their relationship remains unclear. Representatives for Affleck and Kennedy did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Jennifer Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on Tuesday after months of breakup rumors.

Page Six learned their marriage ended in March, though the “On the Floor” hitmaker gave the date of separation as April 26.

They cited mutual differences as the reason for their separation.

One of the differences is probably that Affleck couldn’t stand the media headlines that came with his relationship.

Page Six even reported in 2022 that the “Argo” star “panicked” because of the paparazzi on his honeymoon in Paris, which brought back memories of what ended his first relationship: the pressure of the media spotlight.

An insider close to Affleck told Page Six that he is not ashamed of his need for solitude and is “proud that he has always taken care of himself and always will.”

He adds, “He never will — and it seems he never will — commit himself fully to another person.”

This, of course, is a problem for Lopez.

“The kind of big love that Jennifer believes in, that kind of all-encompassing devotion? Ben has dated for a while and wanted to be a part of it, but it’s not who he is,” the insider explained.

An individual close to the “This Is Me … Now” star told Page Six in early August that she felt embarrassed about her failed marriage because she was sure she and Affleck were going to eventually make their love work.

“She is very angry,” he said. “He has humiliated her. She was the one who initiated the move to get back together.”

“He has humiliated her because she made this big point that he is the love of her life.”

Adding salt to the wound, Lopez tried her best to save her marriage while Affleck showed no interest.

“She has shown no commitment or interest in making their marriage work. It’s gotten to the point where she just has to take care of herself,” a source confirmed to Page Six this week.

The two eloped and got married in Las Vegas in July 2022 – this is 20 years after their wedding was arranged.

They then held a formal ceremony for family and friends at Affleck’s estate in Georgia a few weeks later.
