Fans (and Heather Dubrow) reject Gina Kirschenheiter’s wish to cut bangs: ‘Just say no’
When Gina Kirschenheiter asked her followers if she should have bangs, her fans immediately took her to task.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star posed the question to her Instagram followers in a video on Monday, captioned, “Please help me help myself and tell me not to cut my bangs… thank you in advance for your help ❤️.”
“I’ve seen a lot of bangs lately — a lot of bangs on Reels and TikTok. And, I just keep thinking, do I have to get bangs? Because I really feel like it’s not in my best interest,” she asked in a selfie video.
Kirschenheiter, 40, has been the butt of many jokes related to her hair and overall fashion sense. She also poked fun at herself for her most recent controversial confessional look, in which she wore a metallic minidress with a teased bob.
“I’m not going to be able to survive another bad hair blunder, we all know that. So, please help me understand that we’re not going to do bangs, right? Because that would probably get me kicked out,” she concluded.
Fans — and even one of her fellow “RHOC” co-stars — quickly flooded the comments and warned Kirschenheiter not to give in to the trend.
Her co-star Heather Dubrow commented, “Just say no.”
When Dubrow showcased blunt bags for the Season 9 “RHOC” reunion in 2014, she received mixed reactions.
“You’re still recovering from that interview look, do you really want to try this on Gina?” author Gary Janetti, who is married to celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, wrote.
“No, friends don’t let their friends cut their hair,” one fan said.
“Oh my god please no Gina. No. You’re on a great track with your hair don’t fall now,” someone else wrote.
“You are so beautiful and please don’t cut your bangs. You can get a wig with bangs. 💕 I know it’s hard. But bangs are usually always a regret,” someone else added.

“No bangs! They never turn out exactly like you thought and are so hard to grow out,” another user pointed out.
However, others encouraged her to give it a try or “do what makes you happy.”
Kirschenheiter’s fashion journey hasn’t always been easy since joining Bravo for season 13 in 2018.
The mother of three still misses her old fashion, which mostly revolved around her poorly tied hair.
“The one thing I want to say to everybody is that … I understand that I’ve probably had moments like that in the past, but I’ve been serving pretty consistently over the last couple of years,” Kirschenheiter recently told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-T” podcast.
Kirschenheiter admitted that her recent controversial confessional look was a “hit,” but she recalled that she “really felt” the look before realizing it didn’t “translate” properly on camera.
