‘Golden Bachelorette’ Joan Vasos wants a man who can do grocery shopping and yard work for her

She wants a golden accessory.

“The Golden Bachelorette” star Joan Vasos said her ideal life partner would do grocery shopping and yard work for her, because those are her least favorite chores.

“I grew up with a father who was the ultimate gentleman,” Vasos, 61, said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal published Tuesday.

“He would never let my mom carry heavy groceries in,” she added. “He would always jump up when someone came in the room. He would always open doors.”

The widowed mother of four said she is looking for a man who is friendly, polite and can enjoy going to the beach with his family.

Vasos said she can be flexible about where she lives, as long as she’s not too far away from her family.

As far as her dealbreakers go, she gets totally offended when a guy treats waiters rudely, as she used to work as a waitress when she was a college student.

The blonde beauty was married to John Vassos for 32 years, but he died in 2021 after battling pancreatic cancer.

Joan vied for the heart of “Golden Bachelor” star Gerry Turner during the first season of the “Bachelor” spinoff last year.

She quickly formed a close bond with Turner, 73, but eventually abruptly left the ABC dating show and moved home to her daughter, who was struggling with postpartum depression.

“I was a little worried that maybe we would look silly or like old people trying to date, and that it might be uncomfortable for people watching, or maybe even funny to them,” Joan recalls of her time on the show. “After just a couple of days, I understood what it really was, that it was really real.

“They wanted it to be a show that gave hope to people in their 60s and 70s, who aren’t with anybody, who still have a want or a need. It’s okay to go out and look, and it doesn’t feel stupid. It feels natural.”

While Joan worried every time she had to eliminate someone in her inaugural season, she told the outlet that the men “still go home to live full lives.”

He said, “At this age we have a lot. We have big careers, we have families and we also have grandchildren. So we take a lot home.”

24 men will compete for Vasos’ love in the dating series, which airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
