How to watch ‘A Very Royal Scandal’ for free: Stream the Prince Andrew interview drama
Following Netflix’s “Scoop,” which came earlier this year, Prime Video is releasing its own dramatized take on the infamous 2019 BBC interview where Prince Andrew publicly commented on his dealings and relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
“A Very Royal Scandal” specifically follows reporter Emily Maitlis (played by Golden Globe winner Ruth Wilson) as she pursues the story and conducts interviews, before dramatizing the real events leading up to, and during, her interview with Prince Andrew (played by Golden Globe nominee Michael Sheen).
The show, which is the third series of the critically-acclaimed anthology about British political and royal scandals, is streaming exclusively on Prime Video.

All three episodes of “A Very Royal Scandal” are dropping today, September 19. The episodes will be released at 3:00 pm ET / 12:00 pm PT.

What is ‘A Very English Scandal’ and ‘A Very British Scandal’?
“A Very Royal Scandal,” though it doesn’t share its name with any of the shows that came before it, is technically the third season of an anthology series of historical dramas that dramatize true events from British political and royal history. All three series were made by the same production company and are looped together as a three-season anthology on Prime Video.
The first season, “A Very English Scandal,” arrived on Prime Video in 2018. The three-part miniseries is based on the Thorpe case — when politician Jeremy Thorpe was prosecuted for conspiracy to commit murder after his gay lover threatened his career by revealing their affair. Hugh Grant plays Thorpe, while Ben Whishaw plays his lover Norman Joseph. The series also stars Alex Jennings, who returns to the anthology series in a different role in “A Very Royal Scandal.”
A follow-up series, “A Very British Scandal,” was released in 2021. It stars Claire Foy and Paul Bettany as Margaret Campbell, Duchess of Argyll, and Ian Campbell, Duke of Argyll, respectively, and follows the highly publicized divorce proceedings between the two in 1963. The infamous case involved allegations of adultery, forgery, theft, domestic violence, drug use, and bribery.
