Inside Meghan Markle’s $1.4 million Toronto home, where she lived at the start of her Prince Harry romance

Meghan Markle was having fun in Toronto before Prince Harry won her heart.

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began dating in 2016, Markle was living in a $1.4 million home in Canada’s most populous city while she filmed “Suits” for multiple seasons.

The property — which Markle, 43, reportedly rents from stylist Elizabeth Cabral for two years along with her dogs, Bogart and Guy — features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen with an eat-in space that leads out to a private backyard, perfect for entertaining and relaxing.

The newly renovated home features a Tiffany & Co.-colored entryway, wide-plank wood flooring, a modern basement and a two-car garage equipped with a Tesla charger.

In a 2022 interview with The Cut, Markle called her home “calming and therapeutic” and said it gave her a “sense of freedom.”

According to the house listing, it’s located close to two subway stations, five grocery stores, excellent schools, an ice skating rink, parks and a community center.

Harry, 40, would travel from London twice a month during the early stages of dating to visit the “Suits” alumnus at her home in the heart of Seaton Village in the Annex.

“Meg was excited to show me her life, her dogs, her little house, which she loved so much,” the royal family wrote in their memoir, “Spare.”

In 2017, Markle moved to the UK to live with the Invictus Games founder, and the two married the following year.

A year after the mother of two moved across the pond, the owners of a Toronto home sold it for $1.6 million. Most recently, this Toronto home was sold in August for nearly $1.9 million.

The Sussexes remained in the UK until January 2020, when they announced they were leaving the royal family and relocating to North America.

Harry and Markle now live in a gorgeous Tuscan-style mansion worth a whopping $14 million in Montecito, California, with their two children: 5-year-old Prince Archie and 3-year-old Princess Lilibet.

The couple’s 18,000-square-foot home has nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a pool, a tennis court, a two-bed guest house, a rose garden and a children’s cottage.
