Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend doesn’t like sharing her with her ex-husband Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend isn’t happy that the ‘Argo’ director has time on his hands now that Jennifer Lopez is divorcing him because John Miller doesn’t want to share his leading actress.

Affleck was married to the “13 Going on 30” actress, both 52 years, from 2004 until they announced their separation in 2015. They didn’t file for divorce until 2017.

Despite the breakup, Affleck and Garner have remained close for the sake of their three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. From his recovery from alcohol addiction to his recent split from Lopez, Garner has been by Affleck’s side through it all. The actor was with Garner just hours before Lopez filed for divorce on Tuesday, Aug. 20 — Bennifer 2.0’s second wedding anniversary, because the “Let’s Get Loud” singer reportedly wanted to make it “sting.”

“John doesn’t like sharing Jen, and they have differences when it comes to Jen and Ben,” a source told the Daily Mail on Thursday.

Though Miller isn’t afraid the relationship between her former lovers will rekindle, the insider claimed she is bothered by how much energy Garner gives to Affleck.

“He wishes it didn’t happen because he understands they are a family, but it upsets him as much as it does anyone else,” the source added. “John has no fears about them getting back together – but his support for Ben during his split from JLo has been hard to swallow.”

Miller is reportedly “waiting for Ben and J.Lo to split up so he can start focusing on Jen” — and he’s not alone.

“Jen and John are both expecting it. It’ll just take some time. They both want to be in a better place, but some work needs to be done,” the source said, adding that despite the rumors, Miller and Garner “have not split up.”

Unlike Bennifer, those close to him reportedly believe his game is over.

“Friends think they will be together for a long time. They are very private,” the insider explained.

Miller’s patience with Garner has reportedly strengthened their relationship.

“Ben and Jen’s relationship is different, and while that bothers John, Jen loves the fact that it’s different, because that’s what attracted her to John in the first place.”

The actress began dating the Cali Group CEO in 2018; however, they reportedly ended their relationship in March 2020 “before LA went into lockdown.” They reunited in May 2021, around the same time that Affleck and Lopez rekindled their relationship nearly 20 years after ending their engagement.

The two stars began dating in 2002 after working together in the blockbuster flop “Gigli.” Affleck proposed to Lopez and the two set a wedding date in September 2003, but called off their wedding just days before.

J.Lo said she felt like she was “going to die” and was stuck in an 18-year “cycle” after the relationship ended.

In the divorce filing, Lopez listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024, meaning they have not been together for approximately four months.

She reportedly did not reveal if there was a prenuptial agreement; however, sources told TMZ that they did not have one. Without a prenuptial agreement, everything they earned from their short-lived marriage could have been considered community property.

Lopez waived her right to spousal support and asked the judge to deny support to Affleck.

The insider explained that the pair are “very different people,” which ultimately made their marriage not last long.

Lopez reportedly “worked very hard to make things right, and now she is very unhappy.”
