John Cena reveals his most ’embarrassing’ naked moment — and it wasn’t even in a movie

John Cena doesn’t like to bare everything in front of the camera.

The 47-year-old actor and professional wrestler explained on Wednesday’s episode of the “Club Shay Shay” podcast why he’s not in favor of doing sex scenes in movies.

“Oh my god, it’s the worst,” he said. “It takes a lot of people to make a movie. There’s nothing intimate about it. Nothing. Like it’s really embarrassing.”

Cena specifically mentioned his sex scene with Amy Schumer in the 2015 romantic comedy “Trainwreck,” which he did not enjoy shooting.

“On top of that, doing a comedic sex scene where you’re making fun of yourself? They really [said] “Try to have as much weird sex as possible,” Cena recalled.

“I don’t want to say it’s bad, but it’s different than what you all are thinking,” he said.

Despite his dislike of the sex scenes, Cena said they were no worse than what happened during his nude sketch at the Oscars in March.

“I found all the people behind the camera, but then I walked in front of a room of my peers, many of whom I’ve never met because I didn’t make my way to meet them [them]” Cena said.

“I have the most famous actors, producers, directors in a room and I’ll go in there with my balls in the air, an index card on my stuff, like, ‘Hey guys, is this fun? Are we OK?'”

At the 1974 Oscars ceremony at the 96th Academy Awards, host Jimmy Kimmel was on stage and joked when a naked man came running onstage in front of host David Niven.

“Can you imagine if a naked man came running on stage today? Wouldn’t that be crazy?” Kimmel, 56, said as Cena appeared on stage nude but kept his lower half hidden behind a large presenting envelope.

The “Peacemaker” star joked that he “changed my mind” about running naked in front of a crowd.

He said on stage, “The male body is no joke!”

On “Club Shay Shay,” Cena revealed that Kimmel had convinced him to be a part of the skit.

“Jimmy Kimmel called me personally and said, ‘I need to be at the Oscars.’ And he said, ‘Let me just send you a part.’ And he sent it to the paper and I called him back, like, ‘When do you need me there?’” Cena recalled.

The “Fast X” star admitted he thought he would be “more naked” at the awards ceremony, adding, “I totally expected a penis and testicles, but it’s Disney, so you have to put tape over my butt crack. That was even more embarrassing. Going out there with a taped butthole, it’s tough.”

“But as soon as I read it, and I’m so lucky that Jimmy Kimmel thought of me, and we read it in rehearsal,” Cena said. “He was like, ‘Man, this is going to be a moment. This is going to be funny.’ “

After the sketch, it was confirmed that Cena was not In fact He performed nude on stage in front of a star-studded crowd that included Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper and Mahershala Ali.

“We made sure that, for all intents and purposes, he looked like a Ken doll from the front,” Walt Disney Television executive Rob Mills told Variety after the show.

“Her cleavage was covered from behind and then the envelope was Velcroed so it wouldn’t fall off. But other than that, she was naked,” Mills said.

Backstage photos also revealed that Cena had a pouch made to cover his private parts, both front and back, so he could use it if he dropped a strategically placed envelope.
