Kim Kardashian’s fuzzy dress made headlines at the recent launch party for Lauren Sanchez’s new children’s book, “The Fly Who Flew to Space.”

In photos from the event shared by Sanchez, 54, and Khloe Kardashian, 40, on Tuesday, the 43-year-old Skims founder can be seen posing with her family and friends wearing a strapless Alexander Wang corset top that’s covered in short, black faux fur.

Kim opted to wear the statement piece with simple, form-fitting capri pants and styled her hair in a slicked-back style, ensuring her top stole all the attention.

She wore her usual bronze makeup and finished off the look with light brown lips.

The “American Horror Story” actress’ outfit was definitely more modern than many of the other attendees at the party.

For example, Kris Jenner wore a red, short-sleeved shirt dress, while Khloe wore a striped white skirt suit for the occasion.

Even Sanchez’s outfit was appropriate for a more informal ceremony, consisting of a gray, ribbed, mock neck dress that was perfect for a casual, outdoor party.

“Kim can never wear anything casual,” one person wrote on Khloe’s Instagram post, which included several photos with her sister, mom and Sanchez.

Another top comment read, “Kim’s shirt reminds me of horse hair,” to which Khloe simply replied “No.”

It’s true that the mother of four loves eye-catching designs and is often spotted wearing textured pieces. In August, she was spotted strolling around NYC carrying an $1,850 yellow shearling bag that appeared to be inspired by daughter North West’s Lion King performance at the Hollywood Bowl.
