Social media was abuzz with news that both golfers were sporting new logos on their polos this week, and after some online investigation, the mysterious images have emerged. Woods’ shirt features a cartoon version of Frank, his old head cover, and McIlroy is wearing a miniature Nike shoebox.
Woods’ polo logo is probably the more recognizable of the two, considering how long the logo has been a staple of Tiger’s career. Woods himself has confirmed the logo: “It’s Frank.”
As for McIlroy’s shoebox, it essentially serves as a logo within a logo…within a logo? Talk about a complex campaign!
