Miles Teller’s wife Kelly surprises actor with marriage proposal and swanky gift on 5th wedding anniversary

Miles Teller’s wife Kelly Taylor surprised her husband with a gleaming new motorboat to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary.

In a video shared on Instagram on Monday, Kelly, 31, was seen kneeling in front of a beautiful reservoir and presenting Miles, 37, with a jewellery box with a key inside.

“Will you accept the key to my heart?” she asked the very confused-looking “Top Gun: Maverick” star, who replied, “What’s up?”

Just then, a motorboat pulled up to the pier and his wife announced, “I bought you a boat!”

The surprised actor expressed his gratitude by giving his wife a sweet kiss on the lips while the “Top Gun” theme song, “Danger Zone,” played in the background.

“Surprise before our 5th wedding anniversary 😂 Miles always said it wasn’t fair that men didn’t get to propose so she was so upset he did it for her with her dream boat,” Kelly captioned her post.

The sleek floater had a beige interior and the exterior was painted dark green.

Kelly shared several photos of herself and her husband kissing and hugging near the new ship, which she decorated with a big bow and shiny gold letters that read, “Happy 5th Anniversary.”

Rose petals were scattered on the pier where the boat was anchored in the model.

He also placed a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne on the boat as well as Philadelphia Eagles decorations, which was an extra special nod to the Downingtown, Pennsylvania native.

Miles posed for photos inside the boat wearing a colorful captain’s hat, and then the couple and their friends went for a stroll in the waves at sunset.

In the comments section of Kelly’s post, famous friends congratulated the couple on their achievement and gave their opinions on the surprising gift.

Michael B. Jordan commented on the post, “I loved this for you!!”

“Laughing behind the camera when you get down on one knee 😂♥️ I love you guys,” Camille Kostek wrote.

“Yes, just… yes 😍,” Nina Dobrev said, adding, “Absolutely incredible.”

“I love this so much ❤️,” Eiza González said happily.

Miles and Kelly married in Hawaii in 2019 after dating for four years and getting engaged during an African safari in 2017.
