Nikki Bella said about her husband Artem Chigvintsev days before his arrest on domestic violence charges: ‘It was all meant to be’

Nikki Bella has proclaimed her love for her husband Artem Chigvintsev after he was arrested on domestic violence charges.

On Monday, August 26, Bella, 40, gushed about Chigvintsev, 42, in an Instagram post celebrating their second wedding anniversary.

The former WWE Diva shared a highlight reel from her 2022 wedding in Paris, where Haley Reinhart sang the Elvis classic, “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Bella quoted the song’s lyrics in her caption.

“This song is our love story,” she wrote. “I will never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem. Talking to him and God.”

“I felt like my feelings came really quickly,” she added. “It all happened really fast. And then this song came out. And that’s when I knew I was in love with him and it was all meant to be. 🙏🏼✨”

“Happy anniversary @theartemc I love you! ❤️‍🔥,” she wrote.

Chigvintsev commented on Bella’s post, “Love you ♥️.”

The dance pro also posted her tribute on Instagram, sharing two photos from her and the “Total Divas” star’s wedding day. She captioned the images, “Happy anniversary my love.”

,[C]I can’t see my life without you[.] You are everything to me ❤️.”

Bella responded in the comments, “Happy anniversary clique 🥹❤️‍🔥💋 love you so much!”

Chigvintsev was arrested Thursday by sheriff’s deputies in Napa County, California, under the California Penal Code, which makes it illegal to “injure a spouse, cohabitant or fellow parent in an act of domestic violence.”

However, it is unclear whether Bella, also known professionally as Nikki Garcia, was involved. The alleged victim has asked for complete confidentiality, Napa County Sheriff’s spokesman Henry Wofford told The Post.

Chigvintsev was released on $25,000 bail at 2:18 pm PT. His photo was also made public.

The “DWTS” pro and Bella share a home in Napa where they live with their 4-year-old son, Matteo, who was born in July 2020. It appears Bella was in Napa at the time of her husband’s arrest. She posted a selfie taken at a downtown Napa day spa on Wednesday.

The couple met in 2017 when Bella was a contestant on “DWTS.” At the time, she was engaged to WWE star-turned-actor John Cena. Cena and Bella called off their engagement in July 2018, and by January 2019, Chigvintsev and the Bella twins had reportedly begun dating.

The couple’s lavish 2022 wedding was documented on the reality TV series, “Nikki Bella Says I Do.”

Chigvintsev will not return to “DWTS” for Season 33. He has been in every season of the show since Season 19, except for Season 21 and Season 28.

The Post has contacted representatives for Chigvintsev and Bella.
