Tyrese Haliburton is proving that he can be a showman in many areas. During WWE’s NXT on Tuesday, Haliburton decided to poke a little fun at the expense of the Orlando Magic.

Haliburton appeared on NXT during an angle where Ethan Page and Trik Williams were signing contracts for their upcoming NXT Championship match. Haliburton was met with heavy booing from the crowd of wrestling fans at the show in Orlando.

“If I was an Orlando Magic fan, I’d be booing, too,” Haliburton said.

Haliburton also revealed that several other Pacers teammates were there with him, including Myles Turner and James Johnson.

This certainly wasn’t Haliburton’s first foray into the wrestling industry. In June, Haliburton stood face-to-face with New York Knicks star guard Jalen Brunson during an episode of “Friday Night Smackdown” at Madison Square Garden, which was part of a storyline involving Logan Paul and L.A. Knight. Haliburton stood with Paul and stared down Brunson, who was paired with Knight as part of the segment.

The Magic had a great run on the Pacers during the 2023-24 season as they had a 2-1 record against their Eastern Conference rivals. Haliburton averaged 20.3 points, 8.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds in those three games.

When the Magic and Pacers face off for the first time on October 28, there could be some extra excitement in the match.
