Pregnant Cardi B and Offset reunite after divorce and celebrate son WayV’s 3rd birthday with an airplane-themed party
Offset and Cardi B reunited after their divorce and celebrated son WayV’s 3rd birthday with an airplane themed party.
On Saturday, the pregnant “Bodak Yellow” rapper shared videos and photos from her son’s big day on her Instagram Stories.
In one clip, WayV, who wore a white shirt, jeans, Timberland boots and a customized iced-out chain, danced with the Migos MC.
Cardi — whose birth name was Belcalis Almánzar — showed off her son’s five-tier cake, which was covered with airplanes made of fondant, suitcases, a compass, and paper airplanes.
The party room was decorated with white and light blue balloons, and there were airplanes on the wall with Wave’s name written on them.
Also present was an erroneous flight departure schedule, which indicated aircraft were to depart from gate waves 1, 2, and 3.
Adult guests enjoyed a variety of meals prepared by Chef Franklin Rosario, including fresh salads, Brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, baked mac and cheese, Italian meatballs, lobster mac and cheese, fried chicken wings, BBQ ribs, salmon and lamb chops.
Young people in attendance at Wave’s birthday celebration ate MrBeast burgers.
Last month, Page Six exclusively reported that Cardi had filed for divorce from Offset (born Kairi Cephus).
An insider told Us that the split for the couple, who secretly married in 2017, had nothing to do with infidelity — though cheating rumors have plagued their marriage for years.
“They have grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the source claimed. “It’s something she wants to do.”
Just a day after filing for divorce, the 31-year-old “I Like It” rapper announced she was pregnant with her and Offset’s third child. The couple has a daughter, Kulture, 6, and a daughter, Wayve.
The 32-year-old “Walk It Talk It” rapper is also the father of three other children from three different women.
Though Cardi wants primary custody of her kids, she clarified that she is not asking for child support from Offset.
“My demand is that he only pays the bills for the kids and the new baby,” she wrote on Instagram on August 3.
