Sad-looking Ben Affleck spends time with 15-year-old Seraphina during divorce from Jennifer Lopez
Ben Affleck is focusing on family amid his and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce.
The actor stepped out for a movie night with his and ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s 15-year-old daughter, Seraphina, on Thursday evening.
The pair and the teen’s friends were photographed walking from a parking lot in Marina del Rey, California, toward the A.M.C.
Affleck, 52, maintained a serious expression as he looked at his phone.
The Oscar winner behaved like a normal person in an unbuttoned blue long-sleeve shirt, a grey T-shirt, brown pants and his signature Nike sneakers.
As for Seraphina, the teen wore a graphic T-shirt with cargo shorts.
The trip comes four days after she was spotted in New Haven, Connecticut, where Garner, 52, was staying before sending her daughter Violet (18) to her dorm room at Yale University.
The former couple’s youngest child, 12-year-old son Samuel, was not present at the important moment.
On Tuesday, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck after months of speculation, setting the separation date as April 26.
As for the reason for their split, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer cited irreconcilable differences.
Notably, Lopez filed the same day she and Affleck walked down the aisle in Georgia in August 2022, as a way to take “a stand,” a source told Page Six.
The “Gigli” co-stars got married in Las Vegas in July.
While Lopez herself has kept a low profile since filing the paperwork, Affleck was spotted getting off a private jet with Garner on Tuesday and smoking a cigarette without his wedding ring the next day.
Page Six reported in May that he had “come to an understanding” about his “dreamy” romance with Lopez, to whom he was engaged from 2002 to 2004.
Lopez, for her part, has been “humiliated” by the breakup because “she was the one who initiated getting back together” in 2021, a source recently shared with Us.
The source added, “She’s very angry. … She made a big deal out of the fact that he’s the love of her life.”
The Grammy nominee documented their romance in his “Greatest Love Story Never Told” documentary in 2022 — in which Affleck admitted they were “trying to learn to compromise.”
Jane Fonda expressed her doubts about the relationship in the film, saying the two looked like they were “trying to prove something.”
