Socialite Joseline Wildenstein known as ‘Catwoman’ reveals her face before plastic surgery in shocking throwback photo

Before she became “Catwoman,” she was a natural beauty.

Swiss socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein shared a tribute to her daughter Diane on her birthday, giving a rare glimpse of her original face before she underwent extensive plastic surgery.

The 82-year-old posted a throwback photo on Instagram on Sunday, in which she is sitting on a couch with her newborn daughter in her lap.

Joseline looked gorgeous in a white shirt while her blonde hair was wavy and she wore dark red lipstick. She was looking off into the distance in the same direction as baby Diane.

“Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter Diane Wildenstein #oljogi #jocelynwildenstein,” Joselyn captioned her post.

Joseline welcomed her daughter and son Alex Jr. with her late ex-husband, billionaire art dealer Alex Wildenstein, who died of prostate cancer in 2008.

The socialite rose to fame in the 1990s following her and Alex’s high-profile divorce, which resulted in her receiving $2.5 billion in settlement and $100 million each year after that.

According to Joseline, the former couple split after Alex publicly exposed her extramarital affair.

During Josslyn’s public life, rumors circulated that Alex, who loved cats, encouraged his wife to undergo surgery to make her look more cat-like.

But in an interview with Vanity Fair in 1998, during their tumultuous separation, Alex denied that he had forced her to change her face.

“She was crazy. I was always the last to know. She thought she could fix her face like a piece of furniture. Skin doesn’t work that way. But she wouldn’t listen to me,” she said.

Joseline said in the past that she changed her life because Alex “didn’t like hanging out with old people,” but in the Vanity Fair interview she changed her stance about the impact her plastic surgery had on her.

“They never pressured me… no, they always told me I looked too young,” she said, adding, “Unless you look young enough!”

The mother of two also claimed at the time that some of her facial features were natural.

“Lynxes have very nice eyes,” she said. “If I show you pictures of my grandmother, you’ll see these eyes — cat’s eyes — and the high cheek bones.”

Last year, Josslyn claimed she was bankrupt after Alex’s ex’s family denied her $100 million annual divorce settlement payments. She previously filed for bankruptcy in 2018.

“I have a huge problem with my settlement. For eight years they have totally isolated me,” he told The Telegraph in 2023.

In 2021 it was reported that Jocelyn was making a documentary about her life to earn money.

“Now she really wants to talk about her life, what motivates her, how she built her business in the crazy life she has with her fiancé in New York,” her publicist told Page Six at the time.

Joseline’s documentary has yet to be released.

She is currently dating fashion designer Lloyd Klein. Their relationship began in 2003 after meeting at New York Fashion Week.

In 2016, Joseline reportedly came under “financial pressure” and “became angry” at Klein. She allegedly clawed Klein in the face and stabbed him with scissors, while Klein allegedly pushed her.

They were both arrested and charged for the incident. However, charges against Klein were dropped in January 2017 due to lack of evidence, while charges against Jocelyn were dismissed in February 2017 after the two reunited.
