The meaning behind Arman Tsarukyan’s nickname ‘Akhlakalkats’ proves his love for Georgia

Arman Tsarukyan is a UFC lightweight sensation. He has been an athlete since the early stages of his life as he took up freestyle wrestling and hockey. Tsarukyan also played for the junior team of hockey club Amur. However, due to family matters he had to move on from hockey. But, his favorite career was waiting for him.

Although some reports suggest that the Tsarukyans are Russian, there are no reports specifically linking them to Dagestan.

Arman Zarukyan chose the nickname ‘Tough Guy’ among many “good options”

In a contest to choose a nickname for a UFC lightweight fighter, Tsarukyan chose ‘Tough Guy’. This coincided well with his time playing hockey.

In an Instagram post from UFC Russia, the caption read, “Guys, thank you for your help in finding a nickname for Arman Zarukyan, you have offered many good options!

Armaan saw your suggestions and chose the nickname ‘Tough Guy’. Arman used to play hockey, so this nickname fits him perfectly.
