Tiger Woods at the 2018 Masters: Watch live, tee times, scores, news, highlights, wins
Tiger WoodsThings are not going according to plan for Woods in his first appearance at Augusta National since 2015. After an up-and-down opening round that left him seven shots off the lead, Woods barely made the cut on Friday and will be one of the first to be eliminated in Sunday’s final round.
The four-time Augusta National champion, playing just his second Masters since 2013, struggled with his iron play all week. In his 18 previous Masters appearances, Woods has often dominated the field and has finished in the top-10 13 times. He last finished T17 in the 2015 event. Hey, at least he made the cut at Augusta National for the 19th consecutive time as a professional.
Woods has also been on a roll on the golf course lately. The 42-year-old Woods has posted top-five finishes in his last two warmup tournaments for Augusta, and came close to winning the Valspar Championship in his first appearance. He has finished in the top 12 in each of his last three tournaments and currently ranks in the top 10 in strokes gained behind golfers like Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas.
