Tiger Woods at the 2020 PGA Championship: Odds, Wins, News Updates, Highlights, Pairings, Tee Times
Tiger Woods’ history at TPC Harding Park is unparalleled. Tiger also stands out from the rest when it comes to his performance on the course at the PGA Championship as he has claimed the PGA Championship title on four different occasions (1999, 2000, 2006 and 2007). When you throw in the fact that Woods has never tasted defeat at TPC Harding Park – in match play or stroke play – the only major of the season could be interesting.
Woods brings both victories and some struggles this season to this week’s major. His last win came when he finished 82nd at the Zozo Championships, but since then, it has been a mixed bag. He had quite an up-and-down start to 2020, taking a long break from February to July due to injury and, of course, the COVID-19 pandemic, which halted the PGA Tour for three full months. Gave.
His comeback in the Memorial tournament a few weeks ago, although not the best performance in T40, was still encouraging. Woods’ swing felt good, his back looked solid – for most of the event – and his finish depended on how well he hit it. All of this creates tremendous optimism for how Woods can (and hopefully will) play this week as he goes for major championship No. 16.
CBS Sports will be following Woods throughout his journey at the 2020 PGA Championship this week, covering everything the Big Cat does on and off the course, hopefully leading up to the weekend.
