Travis Kelce professes his ‘love’ for Taylor Swift during Kansas City Chiefs panel
Travis Kelce didn’t hold back from expressing his love for his girlfriend Taylor Swift during the Kansas City Chiefs roundtable on Wednesday.
The NFL star spoke about his relationship with the pop star while participating in a discussion with Chiefs announcer Mitch Holthus, fellow players Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Justin Reid and Harrison Butker.
“We love you,” the 34-year-old tight end told Holthus, to which the announcer — known as the “Voice of the Chiefs” — jokingly asked if Kelce loves him “more than Taylor.”
Kelsey paused to consider the curious question and then admitted, “Probably not.”
The 67-year-old operator of the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network then turned his attention to Mahomes.
“I’m not going to force you into it. I know the answer,” he told the quarterback, who married his high school sweetheart Brittany Mahomes in 2022.
Patrick and Brittany, both 28, have two children — daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 1 — and their third child is on the way.
Meanwhile, Kelsey and Swift — who began secretly dating last summer — have been getting more serious in recent months.
The 34-year-old couple first went public with their relationship in September 2023, when the “Shake It Off” singer attended Kelce’s NFL game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
Since then, Swift has attended several of Kelce’s games and the athlete has also appeared at several of the singer’s Eras Tour shows around the world.
The loved-up couple is rumored to be engaged soon, and earlier this month, a source confirmed to Page Six that Kelsey is planning to get down on one knee and get married in the near future.
An insider told us, “An engagement is coming soon,” though Kelsey’s rep denied that any official engagement is planned.
Meanwhile, there has been recent speculation that Kelsey has already secretly proposed marriage.
We’re told the wife of a top Chiefs executive was overheard telling friends in a suite at Morgan Wallen’s Kansas City concert that Swift and Kelce are engaged. However, it’s unclear if she actually received confirmation or was just regurgitating online gossip.
Page Six exclusively reported in December 2023 that Kelsey was already looking for a ring and had even asked Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, for permission to marry his daughter.
