Travis Kelsey says of his girlfriend Taylor Swift: ‘She’s the best performer’
Travis Kelsey showed some love to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during the Season 3 premiere of his and Jason Kelsey’s podcast, “New Heights,” on Wednesday.
During a conversation with special guest Adam Sandler, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end mentioned the “Billy Madison” star’s family’s attendance at the premiere of the “Cruel Summer” singer’s “Eras Tour” film.
“What a girl, by the way. What a girl,” Sandler shared, to which Travis responded, “You know it. You know it. Best artist here.”
The 57-year-old “Uncut Gems” star continued to talk about Swift’s impact on his family — specifically his two daughters, Sadie and Sunny — telling the Kelsey brothers that he “loves everything she says, every message, every tune.”
Sandler credited Swift, 34, with “helping people do the right thing in life,” before praising his daughters’ film “You’re So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.”
“She has astonished my family. She has astonished them!” the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member said, adding that he “gets very nervous” around Swift because he doesn’t want to “ruin it” with his daughters.
“She is immortalized forever with the whole world,” Sandler added. “She means so much.”
“I appreciate it, brother,” the three-time Super Bowl champion said upon hearing Sandler praise his teammate.
Of course, Sandler admitted his family was nervous when the “Cats” actress and Travis first started dating.
“‘Oh my god, my family was like, ‘Yeah! Look how good they are together! He’s a gentleman, and she’s having so much fun with it,'” he recalled. “Whenever Taylor laughs with you, my whole family is like high-fiving.”
Sandler’s appearance on the podcast, which just recently sold for more than $100 million, comes a week after he confirmed Travis would make a cameo in “Happy Gilmore 2.”
