UFC president Dana White has promised a unique sports spectacle for UFC 306. The promotion will debut The Sphere in Las Vegas on Sept. 14 for its second Noche UFC card over Mexican Independence Day weekend.

UFC Bantamweight Champion Sean O’Malley will take on his opponent Merab Dvalishvili in the main event of UFC 306. O’Malley and Dvalishvili are among the best striker and grappler in the UFC, respectively. O’Malley is looking to establish himself as a marquee player in the UFC; meanwhile, Dvalishvili is looking to avenge his close friend and former champion Aljamain Sterling’s loss to O’Malley.

UFC women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko squared off in the main event of the first Noche UFC card. This year, they occupy the co-main event in a trilogy in which Grasso is 1-0-1. Brian Ortega vs. Diego Lopez, who was removed from UFC 303 just hours before their scheduled bout, has been rebooked for this card.
