Watch Brad Pitt and George Clooney play together on the red carpet at the ‘Wolves’ premiere
Best friends Brad Pitt and George Clooney showed off their friendship at the premiere of their new movie “Wolves.”
Pitt, 60, and Clooney, 63, smiled and greeted each other for the cameras at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California, on Wednesday.
The dynamic duo appeared to be having a good time as they laughed and joked around with each other ahead of the screening.
The “Fight Club” star was seen patting his friend on the back and waving at fans.
Clooney looked dapper in a black suit and black button-down shirt and no tie.
Keeping up with the “ER” alum, Pitt ditched his tie and opted for a sleek tan suit over a white shirt. He paired it with a pair of black sunglasses.
The “Ocean’s Eleven” co-stars were seen walking energetically together while entering the theater.
Earlier in the evening, Pitt arrived at the premiere carrying his girlfriend Ines de Ramon in his arms.
The couple looked very happy as the Oscar winner shook hands with the 31-year-old jewellery designer in front of everyone – although she didn’t join in the step-and-repeat with Clooney.
However, the “Descendants” star has apparently given their love his seal of approval, as he and his wife Amal Clooney were spotted on a double date with Pitt and de Ramone in Venice last month.
Their luxurious Italian night out comes after the friends promoted their upcoming Apple TV+ film at the Venice Film Festival, which was Pitt’s red carpet debut with his girlfriend after dating her for nearly two years.
Directed by Jon Watts, the film follows a fixer who is hired to cover up a high-profile crime, but his nights spin out of control when he’s forced to work with an unexpected partner.
The project marks the first time Pitt and Clooney have appeared on screen together since they starred in the latter’s 2008 film “Burn After Reading.” They previously formed a close bond while working together on the “Ocean’s” franchise in the early 2000s.
The two besties opened up about their friendship during a joint interview with GQ in August, in which Clooney said they’ve been friends for a “long time.”
“And it’s funny because we check on each other from time to time, which is an important part of it. Things get complicated in life, and you always have to make sure that everybody is okay,” he added.
Pitt praised Clooney, saying that he is “the best at understanding the chessboard, seeing the moves and the possible moves.”
“I’ll call George a lot of the time when things get tough,” he said.
“Wolves” will be released in select theaters on Sept. 20 and on Apple TV+ on Sept. 27.
