What Will Cheater Jen Shah Eat in Prison on the Day of the ‘RHOSLC’ Season 5 Premiere?
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 5 premiere won’t be so surprising with Jen Shah in jail.
The convicted fraudster, 50, won’t be able to watch the season premiere with her former co-stars on Wednesday, Sept. 18 — which will be the second season without Shah since her prison sentence — but she’ll have plenty of food to drown her sorrows behind bars.
The Post obtained Shah’s breakfast, lunch and dinner menus from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, revealing what the reality star-turned-scandal-ridden Shah will be eating as she counts down the hours until the premiere of “RHOSLC” on Bravo.
Shah’s morning at FPC Bryan begins with a heart-healthy meal that includes hot oatmeal, whole-wheat bread with jelly and margarine, and fruit — but as the day goes on, the options dwindle.
The former housewife, who at one point started an abdominal workout class in prison, must choose between a hamburger or a black bean burger for lunch. Both come with all the fixings like lettuce, tomato, sliced onion, mustard and ketchup. She can also choose between French fries or a baked potato for her dinner.
Gone are the days of caviar and champagne. Shah’s prison dinner on premiere night will be cheese pizza – but if that doesn’t sound appealing, she might opt for pasta with marinara sauce. Either way, she’s having a garden salad and navy beans to round out her main meal.
Shah begins her prison sentence in February 2023 at a Texas-based women’s facility, where she was convicted of fraud in a massive telemarketing scheme targeting the elderly.
The former “RHOSLC” star was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison despite apologizing during the hearing.
“My actions have hurt innocent people. I want to apologize to all the victims and their families,” she said in court and vowed to pay back all the money she was swindled from in the scheme.
“I wish I would have done better. I wish I would have stood outside myself and seen how much damage I was doing and changed my ways,” Shah said, fighting back tears.
Shah joined “RHOSLC” for the debut season in 2020. She was arrested while filming Season 2 of the Bravo show in March 2021. Her arrest followed the “RHOSLC” episode that aired on Nov. 14, 2021. She continued filming during her legal proceedings.
Shah pleaded guilty in July 2022 to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for his role in a worldwide telemarketing scheme that defrauded victims of millions of rupees by convincing them to invest in dubious online projects.
The Post has contacted Shah’s rep for comment.
The “RHOSLC” Season 5 cast includes returning stars Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanavas, Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose, and three new cast members: Braunwyn Newport, Brittany Bateman and Meili Workman.
The new season of “RHOSLC” premieres tonight (Wednesday, September 18) at 9pm/8c on Bravo.
