Where to watch Barcelona vs Valladolid, odds, prediction: La Liga live stream, TV, prediction, start time
Barcelona have started the new La Liga season on a 100% winning note, taking nine points from a possible nine to make it four wins from four. Real Valladolid are the visitors this weekend in Saturday’s game, with Hansi Flick’s men having the chance to further extend their lead over a Real Madrid side who have won just once in their first three outings since the arrival of Kylian Mbappe – at home against Valladolid. The German side are under pressure to challenge for the title after last season’s disappointment and have started the campaign with wins over Valencia, Athletic Club and Rayo Vallecano.
The Blaugrana twice came from behind with Dani Olmo scoring a debut goal. Pedri scored the equaliser against Rayo. However, another injury – this time to Marc Bernal – could mean Barca get a new face ahead of this match. For Paulo Pezzolano’s side, the 3-0 loss to Real was deceiving as it was 1-0 until the 88th minute while a 1-0 win over RCD Espanyol was made up for with a goalless draw with Leganes. High-flying Celta Vigo will be next up for Valladolid after the international break and Pucella beat the Catalans in May 2023 although his last win came at the end of 1997.

The story so far
With three wins from three, Barca are looking to extend their 100% winning start to the new season. Valladolid are the latest challengers and held Real to a tight spot until a few late goals at the Santiago Bernabeu. Flick’s men lead La Liga while Valladolid are 11th with four points from a possible nine, although the quality of their performances has been better so far.
Team News
Barca: Bernal’s ACL injury means he is ruled out along with Andreas Christensen, Eric Garcia, Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong and Gavi. Flick could hand Olmo a full home debut here while Bernal should make way for Fermin Lopez and Alejandro Balde should come in for Gerard Martin in defence.
Probable Barca XI: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Koubrasi, I Martinez, Balde; Firmin, Pedri; Yamal, Olmo, Rafinha; Lewandowski.
Valladolid: Anwar Touhami is unavailable, but apart from that, there is more or less a full squad for this match. Juanmi Latasa is pushing to start, while Ivan Sanchez could also join Pezzolano’s XI, although Raul Moro and Amath Ndiaye are expected to remain behind Mamadou Sylla.
Probable Valladolid XI: Hein; Perez, J Sanchez, Boyomo, Rosa; K Perez, Juric, Amallah; Ndiaye, Sila, Moro.
Prediction
It should be fairly easy for Barca, even with those absent and despite the fact that Valladolid made life difficult for Real for most of the 90 minutes. Expect a win by a goal or two as the Catalans continue their bright start to the new season. choose: Barça 2, Valladolid 0.
