zac top new music
On April 5th, TOP released their debut album “Cold Beer & Country Music”.
The Washington native delivers line dance-ready tunes, heartbreaking ballads, and boot-stompin’ barn-burning bangers across more than 12 tracks.
After a few detours, we kept coming back to the definitive sing-along “Sounds Like the Radio,” the intimate “Cowboys Like Me Do” and the boogie woogie-ing “The Kinda Woman I Like.”
Don’t overlook the powerful, sombre “Use Me”, either. It shows off the breadth of T.O.P.’s voice – he swings effortlessly between small and big moments – and its simple beauty might even make you cry.
That being said, the album’s spinning, out-of-control final song “Things To Do” is equally great. There’s actually a lot to like on T.O.P.’s impressive, ambitious new effort.
If you’d like to hear it for yourself, “Cold Beer and Country Music” can be streamed here .
