Which classical rock icon’s son is paying tribute to his father on the road?

Tribute ceremonies are being organised.

Earlier this year, the members of King Crimson announced their ‘Beat Tour’, which would celebrate the group’s 80s music alongside Steve Vai, Adrian Belew and Tool drummer Danny Carey.

Following this, the Allman-Betts Band – consisting of Devon Allman and Duane Betts (sons of Gregg and Dickie, respectively) and Roy Orbison’s youngest son Alex – revealed plans for their ‘Allman-Betts Family Revival Tour’.

Finally, an all-star group made up of notables such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers members Benmont Tench and Mike Campbell have revealed they will be paying tribute to Robbie Robertson and The Band on their nationwide ‘Life Is A Carnival: The Last Waltz Tour.’

However, you don’t want to forget A.J. Croche’s ‘Croche Plays Croche Tour’.

At all the shows, the 52-year-old son of the late Jim Croce sang his father’s hits, such as “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown,” “Operator (That’s Not the Way It Feels),” “Time in a Bottle,” “Walkin’ Back to Georgia” and “I’ve Got a Name.”

And, though he won’t be coming to New York this time around, Croce will be getting pretty close when he comes to the State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ on January 11, 2025.

“I realized that he was a part of my life and I was a part of his legacy,” Cross told CBS about his father, who died in a plane crash when he was just two years old. “And I felt like it was important to acknowledge that at a certain age and a certain maturity.”

Based on our findings, the lowest price for tickets for any single show at the time of publication is $36 without fees at Vivid Seats.
